Jones attended prep school at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans. He would go on to play at Tulane where he appeared in 40 games with 22 starts and totaled 40 receptions 268 yards and five touchdowns.
After going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, Jones would sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
