Chad Muma was born August 18, 1999 in Lone Tree, Colorado. He is a linebacker in the NFL.

Muma played in all 12 of Wyoming's games as a freshman, mostly on special teams. He began to see significant playing time on defense during his sophomore season and finished the year with 51 total tackles. As a junior, Muma led the Cowboys with 72 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and three sacks and was named first team All-Mountain West Conference. Muma was invited to play in the 2022 Senior Bowl and was named a finalist for the Butkus Award.

In the 2022 NFL Draft, Chad Muma was taken #70 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
