BIOGRAPHY
Brandon Dunn was born on September 5th, 1992, in Louisville, Kentucky, and currently plays nose tackle for the Houston Texans in the NFL. Dunn attended Pleasure Ridge Park High School and played college football at the University of Louisville.
During high school, Dunn was a three-year starter and team captain. He was the team's Most Valuable Player and best offensive lineman in 2009. Dunn was also the team's top defensive lineman in 2008. He recorded 65 tackles and 16 sacks as a senior, including 30 solo tackles. He also recorded 50 tackles and 16 sacks his junior year.
Dunn played for the University of Louisville football team from 2010 to 2013. In 2010 Dunn played in 11 games at defensive tackle. He recorded 14 total tackles from defensive tackle position, started versus USF and tallied three solo stops, and totaled three tackles, two of which were solo stops versus Pittsburgh. In 2011 Dunn appeared in 12 games, making eight starts. He totaled 16 tackles and had 1.5 tackles for loss. In 2012 Dunn played in 13 games, making nine starts. He registered a career-high 28 tackles and a pair of sacks. During his career he played in 49 games for the Cardinals, starting 30. He recorded career totals of 101 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, and 2 pass deflections.
Dunn was signed by the Chicago Bears on May 11, 2014, after going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft. Dunn made his NFL debut on November 27, 2014, against the Detroit Lions.
Brandon Dunn has played for multiple teams throughout his NFL journey and is currently playing for the Houston Texans in the NFL. On March 10, 2019, the Houston Texans signed Dunn to a one-year contract.
