Bobby Okereke was born on July 29, 1996 in San Mateo, California. He is a linebacker in the National Football League.

Okereke began his playing career at Foothill High School in Santa Ana, California. A four-star recruit finished prep years with 162 tackles with nine sacks. Okereke showed versatility with seven passes defended and four interceptions with 2 returned for a touchdown. 

Okereke would committ to Stanford University for his collegiate career. At Stanford, Okereke would redshirt his freshman year before seeing ample playing time throughout his career. He would finish his career at Stanford, with 240 tackles with 19 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks. Okereke showed his ability to turn the ball over with an interception and three forced fumbles as well. 

Okereke was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round with the 89th overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft. 

He earned his first career start in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons. In Week 13 against the Tennessee Titans, Okereke recorded a strip sack on Ryan Tannehill which was recovered by teammate Justin Houston in the 31–17 loss. This was Okereke's first career sack in the NFL.

In Week 5 of the 2020 season against the Cleveland Browns, Okereke recorded his first career interception off a pass thrown by Baker Mayfield.

Okereke agreed to a four year contract with the New York Giants on March 13, 2022.
