BIOGRAPHY

Austin Reiter was born on November 27th, 1991, in Arlington, Texas. He is a center in the NFL.  

During high school, Reiter played right tackle on offense and three-technique defensive tackle at Lakewood Ranch.  During his freshman season in 2011, Reiter appeared in 10 games along the offensive line and on special teams.

In 2012 during his sophomore season, Reiter started all 12 games at center. As a junior in 2013, Reiter started 12 games for the second straight season and was on the field for a total of 735 plays which was tied for the team lead. He was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List. He was Bulls most consistent offensive lineman. Reiter helped pave the way for senior running back Marcus Shaw to run for 94 yards or more in each of the first four games, including three 100-yard outings and an average 131.25 yards per game.

During his senior season in 2014, Reiter was named to the American Athletic Conference third team by Phil Steele. He started all 12 games at center. Austin has played in 46 career games and started 36 straight.

On September 20, 2016, Reiter signed with the Cleveland Browns' active roster.

On September 3, 2018, Reiter was claimed by the Kansas City Chiefs. He signed a two-year contract extension with the Chiefs on December 6, 2018.
