Andrew Paul Lee was born on August 11th, 1982, in Westminster, South Carolina. He is a punter in the NFL.

Attended West Oak (Westminster, SC) High School and majored in economics with a history minor at Pittsburgh

During college, he played 47 games during his four-year (2000-03) career at Pittsburgh, where he became the first player to win the Big East Conference Special Teams Player of the Year twice … two-time (2002-03) All-Big East honoree finished his career with a 42.4-yard gross average with 61 inside the 20-yard line on 244 punts, 28 touchbacks, long of 73 yards and three blocks … ranked first in school history with 244 punts and second with 10,354 punting yards … set single-season program records with 77 punts and 3,399 yards in 2003.

Originally selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round (188th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft. Re-signed with the club on 3/9/07 (six-year contract) and 5/23/12 (six-year extension). Traded to the Cleveland Browns for a 2017 seventh-round pick on 6/6/15. Traded to the Carolina Panthers for a 2018 fourth-round draft pick on 8/29/16. Released by the Panthers on 9/2/17. Signed a two-year contract with the Cardinals on 9/4/17 and a two-year contract extension on 6/14/18 that will keep him in Arizona through the 2020 season.
