BIOGRAPHY
Alex Cappa was born on January 27, 1995, in Dublin, California. He is an offensive tackle in the National Football League.
Attended Dublin High School. Received first-team All-Diablo Foothill Athletic League honors as a defensive lineman in 2011, before moving to offensive line in 2012 and earning first-team all-league honors. Played in 43 games at Humboldt State (2013-17), earning Great Northwest Athletic Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year all four years he played. As a senior in 2017, was a unanimous first-team All-GNAC selection and was a national finalist for the Gene Upshaw Award, given annually to the best lineman – offensive or defensive – in Division II football. Played in 11 games as a junior (2016), earning first-team All-GNAC honors, being named Division II Conference Commissioners Association first-team All-Region, American Football Coaches Association and Hero Sports first-team All-American, as well as being selected as a representative on the Associated Press Little All-America Second Team. Was a unanimous first-team All-GNAC selection. As a redshirt freshman (2014), played in 10 games and earned unanimous first-team All-GNAC honors.
In 2022 he signed a four-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals.
