Tyler Cook was born on September 23rd, 1997, in St.Louis, Missouri. He is a power forward for the NBA.

Cook played basketball at Chaminade College Preparatory School. In his senior year, he led his team to a state title and scored 17 points. 

Cook later went to the University of Iowa. In his freshman season, he averaged 12.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. In his junior year, he led Iowa to the NCAA Tournament and averaged 14.5 points and 7.6 rebounds. Cook declared for the NBA draft. 

In the 2019 NBA draft, Cook signed a contract with the Denver Nuggets. In August 2019, he signed a two-way contract with the Nuggets but was later released. Cook was then signed to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a two-way contract. Cook is splitting time with their NBA G League affiliate, the Canton Charge.
