Amari Thompson Fund
The Amari Thompson Fund will help Epilepsy Toronto provide support to individuals and families through counselling, support, advocacy and recreational programs, all in a welcoming environment. Tristan Thompson and his family are excited to launch the Amari Thompson Fund in support of Epilepsy Toronto in honour of Tristan’s younger brother living with epilepsy. ‘My brother Amari who suffers from the neurological disorder Epilepsy, has always been the greatest motivational force in my life. As a result, I have worked diligently in my career and am so grateful because it has enabled me to get Amari the best medical treatment available, while at the same time providing for my family. Unfortunately, not every family dealing with Epilepsy has had my good fortune, so it is for this reason that I have decided to create the Amari Thompson Fund.’
To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Our Vision is to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. The primary goal of Marine Toys for Tots is, through the gift of a new toy, help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children.
