Semi Ojeleye was born on December 5th, 1994 in Overland Park, Kansas. He is a power forward in the NBA.

Ojeleye began his career playing at Ottawa High School in Ottawa, Kansas. He would set the Kansas high school career record with 2,763 and the single season scoring record with 952 points. As a senior, Ojeleye averaged 38.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals.

Ojeleye would commit to play his collegiate basketball at Duke University. After his sophomore season, Ojeleye would transfer to SMU. In his junior season at SMU, Ojeleye would play and start in all 35 games for the Mustangs. He would average 19.0 points, and 6.9 rebounds.

Ojeleye would enter the 2017 NBA Draft, where he was a second round selection by the Boston Celtics. 

On August 6, 2021, Ojeleye signed with the Milwaukee Bucks on a one-year, veteran's minimum contract.
