Patrick Bergin Connaughton was born on January 6, 1993, in Arlington, Massachusetts. He is a shooting guard for the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA.

Connaughton previously played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball and men's basketball teams. He was selected by the Orioles in the fourth round of the 2014 MLB Draft. The Brooklyn Nets selected him in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft and traded him to the Portland Trail Blazers. In 2021, during his sixth season in the NBA, he won his first championship as a role player for the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 7.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 24 minutes a game during the postseason run.
