BIOGRAPHY

Alize DeShawn Johnson was born on April 22nd, 1996, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He is a power forward in the NBA. 

Johnson went to St. John Neumann Regional Academy. He led his team 30-1 record and averaged 24.1 points, 15.0 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. After high school,  he went to Frank Phillips College for two years before transferring to Missouri State University. 

In his junior year, he finished his season with 17 double-doubles scoring 20 or more points in nine games and grabbing 10+ rebounds in twenty-two games. JOhnson has 20 or more rebounds twice and one thirty-point game, including a 21-rebound effort. Johnson was the MVP All-Tournament team. Johnson had declared for the 2017 NBA draft but decided to pull back so he can finish his last year at MSU.  In his senior year, Johnson attended the Adidas Nations, and he was the MVP in the camp.

In the 2018 NBA draft, Johnson was selected by the Indiana Pacers, and he made his debut in Las Vegas at the NBA Summer League. His first game was against the Houston Rockets. In July 2018, Johnson signed a contract with the Pacers. 

In July 2019, the Elize Johnson foundation opened a park in Williamsburg. It features a multi-court basketball complex for the local neighborhood. Also, in July, he had a two-day basketball camp from kids from 3rd to the 12th grade. He taught the young basketball players the fundamentals. 

On September 8, 2021, Johnson signed with the Chicago Bulls.
