Scott Arfield was born November 1, 1988, in Dechmont, Scotland. He is a midfielder in the MLS.

In June 2023, Arfield joined Charlotte FC on a contract through the end of 2024 and made his debut on July 5. Arfield scored his first goal for Charlotte on 29 July against Necaxa in the 2023 Leagues Cup.
