Judson Silva Tavares was born May 25, 1993 in Arês, Brazil. He is a midfielder in Major League Soccer.

Judson spent three years on loan with Brazilian club Avaí FC. Despite attracting offers from first division clubs, Judson remained with Avaí FC from 2016 and 2018 and helped them achieve promotion twice to the top-flight Série A. Judson helped his side earn promotion to the Série A in 2016 by finishing second (19-10-9) and conceding the second fewest goals in the league. In his lone season in Série A, Judson averaged 5.24 interceptions per game, third among all players in that category. The San Jose Earthquakes acquired Judson on a permanent transfer using Targeted Allocation Money on October 29, 2019.
