Cristian Arango was born March 9, 1995 in Medellin, Colombia. He is a forward in Major League Soccer.

Arango began his career with Colombian club Envigado FC from 2012-2017. Then Medellin striker went on to have a stellar career with Millonarios FC from 2019-2021 netting 21 goals in that span. 

On 2 August 2021, Arango joined Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC. Arango was named the 2021 MLS Newcomer of the Year, becoming the first LAFC player to earn the award. Building on his success with LAFC, the Medellín, Colombia native earned his first ever call-up to the Colombian National Team, making his debut in Conmebol World Cup Qualifying against Paraguay on November 16. Arango helped LAFC lift their first MLS Cup trophy in 2022 by defeating the Philadelphia Union.

Arango joined Real Salt Lake in 2023.
