Miguel Romero was born April 23, 1994, in Guantanamo, Cuba. He is a pitcher in the MLB.

Romero played for Guantánamo in the Cuban National Series from 2012 to 2016. He signed with the Athletics as a free agent in 2017. The Athletics added him to their 40-man roster after the 2020 season.
