Luis Frías was born May 23, 1998, in Rio San Juan, Dominican Republic. He is a pitcher in the MLB.

Frías signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks as an international free agent in 2015. The Diamondbacks added him to their 40-man roster after the 2020 season.

Frías was called up for his MLB debut on September 19, 2021.

Frías was optioned to the Triple-A Reno Aces to begin the 2023 season.
