 Jorge Barrosa was born on February 17, 2001, in Puerto Cabello, Venezuela. He is an outfielder in the MLB.

Barrosa was added to the Arizona Diamondbacks 40 man roster in late 2022, but due to injury he was optioned to Triple-A where he batted .274 and hit 13 home runs.

Barrosa made his MLB debut on April 1, 2024. Barrosa would get his fist hit on his first at bat.
