Jake Elmore was born June 15, 1987, in Pleasant Grove, Alabama. He is an infielder in the MLB. While most often a shortstop, Elmore is one of a handful of MLB players who have played pitcher and catcher in the same game. Elmore was also the 14th player in MLB history to play all nine positions throughout a season with the Houston Astros (2013).
