Chaz Roe was born October 9, 1986, in Steubenville, Ohio. He is a pitcher in the MLB.

Roe signed a minor league contract for the 2013 season with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He made his MLB debut with the Diamondbacks on July 1.

On July 18, 2017, Roe was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays for cash considerations and assigned to the Triple-A Durham Bulls. He was called up in September when rosters expanded. In 8 games, he posted an ERA of 1.07 in 8 2⁄3 innings. He struck out 12.
