BIOGRAPHY
Fabian Moreau was born on April 9th, 1994, in Elmont, New York. He is a cornerback in the NFL.
During high school, Moreau played running back and wide receiver. He was named three-star recruit according to scout.com and the nation's No. 121 running back. As a senior Moreau, ran 149 times for 889 yards and 11 touchdowns, also caught 21 passes for 416 yards and seven touchdowns.
Moreau played for the University of California, Los Angeles football team from 2012 to 2016. In 2012 Moreau saw action in 11 games as a reserve in the secondary and on special teams. He was credited with five tackles and a fumble recovery. In 2013 he was a starter in all 12 games he played. He was ranked ninth on the team with 51 tackles. In 2014 Moreau started in all 13 games. He was second-team all-conference selection and ranked seventh on the team in tackles (53) and tied for the team lead with eight passes defended. In 2015 he started the first three games of the season, registered eight tackles and a pass breakup. He was named to the UCLA Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the winter quarter. In 2016 he was a starter in all 12 games. Moreau led the team with 10 pass defenses. He was ranked tied for sixth in the Pac-12 in passes defended with a 1.0 mark and named honorable mention All-Pac-12 by the coaches.
The Washington Football team selected Moreau in the third round (81st overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. On May 26, 2017, the Washington Redskins signed Moreau to a four-year contract.
On September 5, 2022, Moreau was signed to the New York Giants practice squad. Moreau was elevated from the practice squad for Week 2 and Week 3 games against the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys. On September 28, 2022, he was promoted to the active roster.
