Chad Torress Slade was born May 4, 1992 in Moody, Alabama. He is a guard in the NFL.

Slade was a four-year starter at Auburn from 2010-14. His 49 career starts were the second most among SEC offensive lineman and fourth-most in Auburn history.

Slade signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 8, 2015. On September 3, 2016, Slade was waived by the Texans and was signed to the practice squad the next day. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Texans on January 16, 2017 after spending the entire season on their practice squad. On September 1, 2018, Slade was waived by the Texans and was signed to the practice squad the next day.

On January 14, 2019, Slade signed a reserve/future contract with the New York Giants. He was waived on September 6, 2020, and re-signed to the practice squad.
