BIOGRAPHY
Austin Corbett was born on September 5, 1995, in Sparks, Nevada. He is a center in the NFL.
Corbett attended Reed High School and was a member of two regional championship teams in 2012 and 2013. He was named first-team All-Region and All-State in 2012 and lettered in wrestling, basketball and track and field. Corbett was also a member of the National Honor Society and freshman mentor council.
In college, he started 49 of 50 career games at Nevada and finished his career with 48 consecutive starts. Corbett redshirted in 2013 and played in 2014 as a redshirted freshman. As a sophomore in 2015, he started in all 12 contests and earned All-Mountain West honorable mention honors. In 2016, he earned second-team All-Mountain West honors for the first time in his career and was named second-team All-MW by Phil Steele. Corbett started in all 12 games in 2017 as a senior and was named to the All-Mountain West first team by the conference coaches. He earned a spot in the Reese's Senior Bowl and was a semifinalist for the Burlsworth Trophy. Corbett earned All-Mountain West academic honors. He graduated with a degree in public health.
The Cleveland Browns selected Corbett in the second round. On May 6, Corbett signed a four-year deal worth $7.568 million featuring a $3.584 million signing bonus.
The Browns traded Corbett to the Los Angeles Rams on October 15, 2019 in exchange for the Rams' fifth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. In 2021-22, Corbett started all 17 regular season games. Corbett also started in every playoff game, including Super Bowl LVI, as the Los Angeles Rams went on to win the game 23-20, playing at home, against the Cincinnati Bengals.
In March of 2022, he signed a three-year deal with the Carolina Panthers.
