Son of a Saint
Growing up without a father is a challenge facing thousands of boys in New Orleans. For too many of them, the challenge will prove overwhelming. Son of a Saint exists for these boys, providing mentorship, education, recreation, camaraderie, cultural enrichment, emotional support, and helping to fill the void for dozens of fatherless young men in New Orleans.
Alvin Kamara hosted a youth football camp at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
In November, 2018 Alvin Kamara and business mogul Larry Morrow hosted their first annual Turkey Giveaway and Thanksgiving Fest at Stallings Playground in New Orleans.
The New Orleans Saints rookie running back set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money for the fine, the proceeds of which he’ll donate to charity for a belated Christmas present to those in need.
