Samuel Thomas Dekker was born May 6, 1994 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He is a forward in the NBA.

Dekker played college basketball for the Wisconsin Badgers. After finishing college on a championship game run in the 2015 NCAA Tournament, Dekker was selected by the Houston Rockets with the 18th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft.

^{On June 28, 2017, the Los Angeles Clippers acquired Dekker and then traded again to the Cleveland Cavaliers on August 7.}
