Project Medishare

Mason Plumlee has joined up with Moment to raise funds for Project Medishare, an organization working to improve quality of life in Haiti. Project Medishare is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of all Haitians. Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world. Access to health care and development services are limited. There are four health professionals for every 10,000 people – even less in rural communities. Easily treatable and preventable diseases often lead to death, especially among pregnant women and children. Without basic health care, efforts to improve economic and social conditions in the country are futile. Project Medishare empowers Haitians to provide and receive access to comprehensive, quality health care.
