Jimmy Butler was born on September 14, 1989, in Houston Texas. He is a small forward in the NBA.

Butler is a six-time NBA All-Star, a five-time NBA All-Defensive Team honoree, and a five-time All-NBA Team honoree. In 2015, he was named the NBA Most Improved Player. Butler is a Shooting Guard who has improved his scoring every year, becoming one of the best two-way players in the NBA. He played at Marquette during his college career. The Chicago Bulls drafted Jimmy with the 30th pick in the 201I NBA draft. Jimmy is also a gold medalist in the 2016 Rio Olympics as a member of the USA Senior Men’s Basketball team.

Butler put up a good performance in his first year at Tyler Junior College, which generated interest from Division I teams. He was ranked the 127th junior college prospect in 2008 while being regarded as a two-star recruit by 247sports. Butler was then offered a scholarship by Marquette University which he accepted. He continued in good form at Marquette, which saw him promoted to the starting lineup in his junior season. In his junior season, Butler also received an All-Big East Honorable Mention. The next season, he participated in the NCAA tournament for the 5th successive time, he also received an All-Big East Honorable Mention for the second successive time.

Jimmy Butler loves coffee. He made headlines in the NBA bubble when he started selling coffee from his hotel room during the playoffs and has his own coffee company named Big Face Coffee.
