Dylan Windler was born on September 22ns, 1996, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a shooting guard and small forward in the NBA. 

Windler attended Perry Meridian High School. He played basketball and golf. Windler's game performance attracted recruits. In his senior year, he led the state in points and rebounds per game with 27.3 points and 10.2 rebounds per contest.

Windler went on to Belmont University, and in his sophomore year, he was a starting guard and averaged 9.2 points per game. In February 2018, he was named the First- Team All-OVC. In a game against Morehead State. He had a career-high in points with 41, including a career-high eight 3-pointers. 

In the 2019 NBA draft, Windler was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
