Caris Coleman LeVert was born August 25, 1994 in Columbus, Ohio. He is a shooting guard in the NBA.

LeVert began his career playing prep basketball at Pickerington High School Central in Pickerington, Ohio. As senior, LeVert led the school in 2012 OHSAA Division I State Championship. For his effort that season, LeVert was named to the Associated Press All-Ohio Second Team and Columbus Dispatch Metro Player of the Year. 

LeVert would committ to the University of Michigan to play colleigate basketball. Levert would play all 4 years of his eligibility at Michigan. He would finish his career averaging 10.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.9 assists.

On June 23rd, 2016,the Indiana Pacers selected LeVert with the 20th overall pick. On July 7th, 2016 the draft rights to LeVert was traded to Thaddues Young the Brooklyn Nets. Since joining the league LeVert has been averaging 11.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

On January 16, 2021, LeVert was traded to the Indiana Pacers.
