BIOGRAPHY
Tre'Davious White was born on January 16, 1995, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is a cornerback in the National Football League.
White attended Green Oaks High School and played college football at LSU. During high school, White emerged as an elite prospect during his junior season in 2011 while passing for 1,710 yards and 20 touchdowns and rushing for 804 yards and eight touchdowns from the quarterback position. He was honored as a first-team Class 3A all-state selection by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association following the 2012 campaign. White passed for 593 yards and rushed for 306 yards while accounting for 11 touchdowns during a stellar senior season in 2012. During his freshman season in 2013, White played in all 13 games with 11 starts. He finished the rookie season with 55 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions and led Tigers with seven pass breakups. As a sophomore in 2014, White played and started all 13 games at cornerback. He helped LSU rank No. 1 in the SEC in total defense (316.8 yards per game), pass defense (164.2 yards per game). He finished the year with 25 punt returns for 273 yards and was ranked No. 6 in the SEC with a 10.9 punt return average. During his junior season in 2015, White played and started 11 games at cornerback. He served as a punt returner for the second consecutive season and was named a Second-Team All-SEC selection by both the league coaches and the Associated Press. White led the team with seven pass breakups. He finished with 44 total tackles, including 30 solo, and 1.5 tackles for losses and returned 20 punts for 229 yards with an 11.4-yard average per return. In 2016, during his senior season, White started all 12 games in the secondary for the Tigers. He earned first-team All-America honors as well as being the first team All-SEC pick. Statistically, he was the most challenging cornerback to pass against in 2016, allowing only 41.7 percent of his targets to be completed and he led the nation with a 90.5 overall grade according to Pro Football Focus. White finished year with 35 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss and a half-sack and recorded 14 pass breakups, which ranks as 10th in school history for a single-season.
The Buffalo Bills selected White in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. On May 18, 2017, the Buffalo Bills signed White to a four-year contract.
