BIOGRAPHY
Rob Havenstein was born on May 13th, 1992 Mount Airy, Maryland. He is an offensive tackle in the NFL.
He was a top offensive tackle in Maryland and ranked as the 17th-best player in Maryland by Rivals, named first-team all-state and all-area, and served as team captain as a senior. He committed to the University of Wisconsin–Madison on October 21, 2009. He also held offers from Penn State, Maryland, Virginia, Wake Forest, and West Virginia.
He played four years at Wisconsin and earned First-team All-America, second-team All-America, first-team All-Big Ten, and Big Ten Sportsmanship Award following the 2014 senior season. He matched a Wisconsin school record with 54 career games played and started 42 games in his career, including 41 straight at right tackle over his final three seasons. Havenstein anchored an offensive line that led the way for two of the three best single-season rushing performances in school history at 283.8 yards per game in 2013 and a school-record 320.1 yards per game in 2014.
Rob Havenstein was drafted in the second round by the Los Angeles Rams with the 57th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He earned PFWA All-Rookie honors in his first year as a Ram. Havenstein is a fifth-year pro and has started in all 59 career regular-season games and four playoff contests in which he saw action at tackle.
On August 20, 2018, Havenstein signed a four-year contract extension with the Rams through the 2022 season. He started all 16 games in 2018 and helped the Rams win 13 games and earned the second seed in the NFC. The Rams defeated the Dallas Cowboys in the Divisional Round and the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship Game to reach Super Bowl LIII, where they would lose to the New England Patriots by a score of 13-3.
In 2021, Havenstein won Super Bowl LVI when the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20. On September 8, 2022, Havenstein signed a three-year, $34.5 million contract extension with $24.1 million guaranteed.
