BIOGRAPHY
Pharoh Cooper was born on March 7th, 1995, in Havelock, North Carolina. He is a wide receiver and in the NFL.
Cooper played college football at the University of South Carolina. In 2013 as a True freshman, Cooper saw his role increase as the season progressed. He was third on the squad with 655 all-purpose yards, including 202 rushings, 54 receiving, 40 on punt returns and 359 on kick returns and also completed 2-of-3 passes for 29 yards and a touchdown. He played in 11 of 13 games, not seeing action against either Georgia or Vanderbilt. Cooper caught his first career pass, a 12-yard reception, in the win over Kentucky.
In 2014 He Earned first-team All-SEC honors by the AP and SEC coaches as a wide receiver and was a second-team pick by both as an all-purpose back. Pharoh was third in the SEC in receptions, second in receiving yards and receiving yards per game, fourth in receptions per game and ninth in all-purpose yards/game. His single-season marks ranked sixth in school history for receptions, third for receiving yards and tied for sixth for touchdown receptions.
In 2015 Cooper was Gamecocks' leading receiver with 66 receptions for 973 yards. He ranked second in league with 81.1 receiving yards and fifth with 5.5 catches per game. Cooper finished his junior season with 138 career catches for 2,163 yards with 18 touchdown receptions. His best game came against The Citadel when he caught 11 passes for 191 yards and a score.
The Los Angeles Rams drafted Cooper in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Cooper scored his first NFL career touchdown with a 103-yard kick return touchdown to start the game in a 27-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. On December 19, 2018, Cooper was claimed by the Arizona Cardinals.
