BIOGRAPHY
Patrick Chuba Omameh Jr. was born on December 29, 1989, in Columbus, Ohio. He is a guard in the NFL. Omameh played college football for the University of Michigan Wolverines.
During high school, Omameh was three-year letterman at St. Francis De Sales. He carried a 4.0-grade point average and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.85 seconds.
During his freshman season in 2009, Omameh earned a first varsity letter. He played in seven contests and started the final three games of the season at right guard. He made career debut at right tackle vs. Western Michigan (Sept. 5). In 2010 during his sophomore season, Omameh earned a second varsity letter and Academic All-Big Ten. He started in all 13 contests at right guard. Omameh made a start at right guard against Connecticut (Sept. 4) and Notre Dame (Sept. 11).
During his junior season in 2011, Omameh was Sugar Bowl champion. He earned a third varsity letter and Academic All-Big Ten. He played in all 13 games and started each game at right guard. In 2012 during his senior season, Omameh started 13 games at right guard. He was named to 2012 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team and was a finalist for 2012 Pop Warner National College Football Award.
Omameh signed with the San Francisco 49ers following the 2013 NFL Draft. On October 11, 2013, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Omameh. He started all 16 games for the Buccaneers at the right guard position during the 2014 season. Patrick Omameh has played for multiple teams throughout his NFL journey and is currently playing for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League.
