BIOGRAPHY
Orlando Claude Brown Jr. was born on May 2nd, 1996, in Duluth, Georgia. He is an offensive lineman in the National Football League.
In his early years, Brown attended Peachtree Ridge High School where he was a three-star recruit by ESPN, 247Sports, Scout, and Rivals. He also was the No. 35 offensive tackle by ESPN and the No. 29 offensive tackle by 247Sports. After he finished high school, Brown committed to the University of Oklahoma where as a freshman in 2015, he was named a Freshman All-American by Sporting News and was a second-team All-Big 12 honoree by ESPN.com and third-team by Phil Steele. He earned honorable mention All-Big 12 acclaim by league’s coaches and he started all 13 games at left tackle. Brown made his Sooners debut, starting at left tackle in the season opener against Akron on September 5th, becoming one of 10 freshmen in OU history to start a game at offensive tackle. As a sophomore in 2016, Brown was named second-team All-American by AP and FWAA and was voted 2016 Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year by league's coaches, becoming the first sophomore to win the award since it was introduced in 2006. He was also named first-team All-Big 12 by the league's coaches and AP. Lewis started all 13 games at left tackle and played 659 snaps and surrendered just one sack. As a junior in 2017, Lewis was the unanimous first-team All-American in AFCA, AP, FWAA, Sporting News, and Walter Camp and was one of three finalists for the Outland Trophy. He was named Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year and was named first-team All-Big 12 by the league's coaches and AP. He started all 14 games at left tackle. After his junior season, Brown decided to forgo his senior season and enter the 2018 NFL Draft where he was selected in the third round by the Baltimore Ravens. On May 16th, 2018, the Baltimore Ravens signed Brown to a four-year contract and in his rookie season, he appeared in all 16 games and started ten games at right tackle, and started in the Wild Card loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
On January 15, 2020, Brown, who had been named as an alternate at offensive tackle to the 2020 Pro Bowl, was added to the active Pro Bowl roster, replacing injured Oakland Raider Trent Brown. Brown was named to his second Pro Bowl in 2020. On April 23, 2021, Brown was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, along with a second-round pick (58th overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft and a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, in exchange for the Chiefs' first-round pick (31st overall) in the 2021 NFL Draft, a third-round pick (94th overall), a fourth-round pick (136th overall) and a 2022 fifth-round selection.
In 2023 Orlando Brown was named to his 5th Pro Bowl and signed with the Cincinnati Bengals on March 17, 2023.
