BIOGRAPHY

Noah Dawkins was born on August 13th, 1997, in Lyman, South Carolina. He is a linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL.

Dawkins attended Byrnes High School and was a two-year football letterman. He set a school season record with 23 sacks as a senior. He was the ESPN Upstate Player of the Year and Spartanburg Herald-Journal Defensive Player of the Year. Even, received the team's Strongest Rebel Award. He played for Citadel All-American and Athletic Hall of Fame member Lance Hansen. Dawkins was a member of the Honor Roll.

In 2015, he attended the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. Dawkins recorded nine tackles including 1.5 for loss with 1.5 sacks. Made one solo tackle in 41-38 win at Coastal Carolina in the first round of NCAA FCS Playoffs. In his sophomore year, he recorded 33 tackles, including 7.0 for loss with 5.0 sacks, two pass breakups, and one quarterback hurry. In 2017, he was second on the team with 61 tackles, including 11.0 for tackles for loss. Dawkins a season-high six solo stopped against the Keydets and recorded a season-high 3.0 tackles for loss, including 0.5 of a sack and had six tackles, three each solo and tackle assists at No. 21 Furman.

In 2019, he signed with the Cincinnati Bengals for three years. On August 31, 2019 Dawkins was waived by the Bengals. On October 9, 2019, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him to their active roster. 

He signed a reserve/future contract with the Jets on January 4, 2021.
