BIOGRAPHY
Nick Keizer was born on May 2nd, 1995, in Portage, Miami. He is a tight end in the NFL. Keizer attended Portage Northern High School and played college football at the Grand Valley State University.
During high school, Keizer caught 19 passes for 353 yards and three TDs as a senior, averaged 18.6 yards per catch. He tallied 28 tackles, including 14.5 tackles for loss as an outside linebacker. Keizer earned Associated Press Division 1-2 All-State plaudits. He was named to the Detroit Free Press Division 2 All-State team.
Keizer played for the Grand Valley State University football team from 2014 to 2016. In 2014 Keizer was named to the GLIAC Academic Excellence team. He earned first varsity letter after seeing action as a reserve tight end, also saw action on special teams. In 2015 Keizer played 13 games at tight end. He recorded nine catches for 127 yards and a two TDs, averaged 14.1 yards per reception. Keizer recorded first career reception and TD catch vs. Michigan Tech (10/17). He caught a combined four passes for 43 yards in two games vs. Ashland and tallied 46 yards on two catches vs. Shepherd (12/12). In 2016 Keizer played in 12 games. He caught seven passes for 103 yards. He hauled in two passes for 31 yards at Walsh (9/24), he pulled down one pass for 13 yards vs. Truman State (10/15). He caught two passes for 30 yards at Hillsdale (10/22).
In 2018 the Baltimore Ravens signed Keizer to a three-year contract.
Nick Keizer has played for multiple teams throughout his NFL journey and is currently playing for the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL. On 2019, Keizer was signed to a one-year contract. He was resigned for both 2020 and 2021 to a 1 year contract.
