Mark Ingram Jr. was born on December 21st, 1989, in Hackensack, New Jersey. He is a running back in the NFL. 

Ingram played college football for the University of Alabama for three seasons from 2008 to 2010. He gained more than 3,200 yards on 572 attempts with 42 rushing touchdowns and caught 60 balls for 678 yards and four receiving scores. As a sophomore in 2009, Ingram was named First Team All-SEC and Unanimous All American. He won SEC Offensive Player of the Year on the way to helping his team win an SEC Championship and BCS National Championship Title. Ingram was also a recipient of the Heisman Trophy in 2009 after rushing for 1,658 yards and 17 touchdowns while averaging 6.1 yards per carry. 

Mark Ingram was selected in the first round by the New Orleans Saints with the 28th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. He spent eight seasons with the Saints, where he ran for more than 6,000 yards and 50 rushing touchdowns.  Ingram has been selected to two Pro Bowls and most recently in 2017 when he rushed for more than 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns. On March 13, 2019, Ingram signed a three-year, $15 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens. 

On October 27, 2021, Mark Ingram was traded from the Houston Texans back to the New Orleans Saints.
