BIOGRAPHY

Marcus Johnson is an American football wide receiver of the National Football League (NFL). He attended Clear Springs High School in League City, Texas and accumulated 110 receptions for 2,051 yards and 21 touchdowns while rushing for 379 yards and one touchdown in his final three seasons. Johnson attended and played college football at the University of Texas where he majored in physical culture and sports.  He appeared in 42 games (18 starts) at Texas and accumulated 61 receptions for 793 yards and four touchdowns. After playing college football for Texas, he was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent following the 2016 NFL Draft. He would go on to win Super Bowl LII with the Eagles, defeating the New England Patriots.

On September 1, 2018, Johnson was traded to the Indianapolis Colts for tight end Darrell Daniels. In Week 6, against the New York Jets, he scored his first professional touchdown.
