BIOGRAPHY
L'Jarius Sneed was born on January 21, 1997, in Minden, Louisiana. He is a cornerback in the NFL.
Sneed attended Minden High School where he played on both sides of the ball. During his senior season, he helped lead his team to a 9-3 record while going to the 2nd round of the LHSAA 4A state playoffs. He was a 1st team all-district his juniors and senior season. He decided to play college ball at Louisiana Tech University.
Sneed played immediately when he got on campus. He played in all 14 of the games while making starts in his last two season. He had the full-time starting role his junior season when he recorded 59 total tackles. During his senior year, he moved to safety. That season, Sneed had a team-high 72 tackles while being awarded 2nd team all-conference USA. During the 2020 NFL draft, he was selected in the 4th round (138th pick) by the Kansas City Chiefs. Sneed moved back to cornerback when he got to Kansas City. In Sneed's professional debut against the Houston Texans in Week 1, he recorded his first career interception in the 34–20 victory. After breaking his collarbone in the Chiefs week 3 game against the Baltimore Ravens, Sneed was placed on injured reserve on September 30. He was activated on November 21, 2020. In Week 15 against the New Orleans Saints, he recorded his first career sack during the 32–29 win. In the Chiefs 22–17 victory in the Divisional Round of the playoffs against the Cleveland Browns, Sneed recorded a sack. In the AFC Championship against the Buffalo Bills, Sneed recorded one sack in the Chiefs 38–24 victory. In 2022, Sneed won his first Super Bowl when the Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 with Snead recording 7 tackles and 2 passes defende in the win.
