BIOGRAPHY
Khari Blasingame was born on July 1st, 1996, in Huntsville, Alabam. He plays fullback in the National Football League.
In his early years, Blasingame attended Buckhorn High School where during his sophomore and junior years, he started at cornerback while in his senior season, he played as a safety where he posted 64 solo tackles and pair of INTs for 6-5 Bucks’ squad that advanced to 6A state playoffs. He also rushed for 966 yards and 10 TDs and earned second-team All-State DB and All-Tennessee Valley DB honors. After he finished high school, Blasingame committed to the University of Vanderbilt whereas a redshirted freshman in 2015, he played in 11 games, contributing at inside linebacker and on special teams. He earned first career start at Ole Miss and finished the year with 13 total tackles, including eight solo stops. Asa sophomore in 2016, Blasingame was a first-year contributor on offense, playing a key role in diversifying the Commodore attack. During the spring drill, Blasingame moved from linebacker to running back where he played in all 13 games at running back and on special team return units. He finished the season second behind Ralph Webb with 449 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns on 97 carries and also registered four receptions. As a junior in 2017, Blasingame played an important role for the Commodores, contributing on offense and special teams for the second straight year. He participated in 11 games and earned a starting role at running back the Commodores’ early-season win over Alabama A&M. He produced 147 yards on 45 carries and his best performance of the year came against Alabama A&M where he rushed for 55 yards on six rushing attempts including a career-long carry of 31 yards. In his senior year in 2018, Blasingame made two starts and played in all 13 games for the Commodores, rushing for 401 yards and five touchdowns on 96 attempts while adding 25 receptions for 320 yards and a score. He finished the year second on the team in rushing yards and has averaged 30.8 per game.
After he graduated from college, Blasingame entered the 2019 NFL Draft where he was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent. He signed a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans in 2021. After the Titans he signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears in 2022.
Blasingame joined the Chicago Bears in 2023.
