Kalon Barnes was born December 16, 1998, in Silsbee, Texas. He converted from wide receiver to cornerback before the 2018 season at Baylor. Barnes ran a 4.23-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, the second-fastest time at the combine since 2003.
In the 2022 NFL Draft, Kalon Barnes was taken 242nd by the Carolina Panthers.
