BIOGRAPHY

Josh Woods was born on July 1st, 1996, in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a linebacker in the National Football League.

As a freshman he appeared in eight games with most of his work coming on special teams. He ended that season without recording any tackles. In 2015 he saw action in six games and was once again used primarily on special teams. He finished off the year with four tackles. In 2016 he finally saw more action on the field. He played in 10 games that year and made five starts at the safety position. He ended the year with 41 tackles, one tackle for loss and two pass deflections.

On June 8, 2018, Woods signed a contract with Chicago, but he was waived on September 1, 2018. Two days later, he signed to the practice squad, and by January 8, 2019, Woods signed a reserve/future contract with the Bears. Woods joined the Arizona Cardinals in 2023.
