Johnny Mundt

BIOGRAPHY

Johnny Mundt was born on November 23rd, 1994 in Modesto, California. He is a tight end for the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL.

In high school, Mundt was a two-time first-team MaxPrep Division IV all- state tight end helped the Central Catholic Raiders to the IV state championship his senior year and a 14-2 record. He was a Scout.com four-star choice and Western Athletic League MVP was listed 10th among the nation’s tight end prospects by ESPN.com. Mundt caught 33 passes for 625 yards and eight touchdowns in 2012 and recorded 80 tackles and 15.5 quarterback sacks as a linebacker his final year to be named to the Cal-Hi Sports all-state first team on defense.

Mundt Played football at Oregon where he earned Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention and Dudley Randolph Clarke Memorial Award for the team’s most improved player in 2016. He started the last six games of the season but saw action in eight games and ended the season with 23 receptions for 334 yards and four touchdowns. He was on the John Mackey Award Watch List (Nation’s Top Tight End) in 2015.

Johnny Mundt was selected in the Mundt signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent on April 29, 2017. Mundt is a second-year pro has played in 12 regular season games and three postseason contests.
