Jerome Baker was born on December 25th, 1996 in Cleveland, Ohio. He is an inside linebacker in the NFL. 

Baker attended Benedictine High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of the 2014 State Championship football team while at Benedictine and was considered the #2 recruit in the state of Ohio for the class of 2015. He originally committed to the University of Florida to play college football but changed his commitment to The Ohio State University.

Jerome Baker attended Ohio State, majoring in criminology. He was a 3-year letterman (2015-17) and 2-year starter. He played in 33 games with 25 starts, and had 158 tackles (90 solo), 7 sacks, 2 interceptions, 5 passes defensed, 1 forced fumble and 3 fumble recoveries. As a junior, he started 13 games, had 72 tackles (42 solo), 3.5 sacks, 3 passes defensed, 1 forced fumble and 2 fumble recoveries. He also recieved All-Big Ten honorable mention. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 2018.
