BIOGRAPHY
Jeremy Sprinkle was born on August 10th, 1994, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He is a tight end in the NFL.
Prior to his college career, Sprinkle attended and played high school football at White Hall High School. He was ranked as the No. 5 overall prospect in Arkansas and the 15th-best tight end in the country by 247Sports and as the No. 7 overall prospect in the state by Rivals. He caught 45 passes for 841 yards and six touchdowns and made 92 tackles, including 14 sacks, in helping the Bulldogs win the 2011 5A Southeast Conference championship and reach their first state semifinal in 20 years.
During his freshman season in 2013, Sprinkle Saw action in all 12 games and started twice. He caught four passes for 68 yards and gained one yard on one rush. During his sophomore season in 2014, Participated in all 13 contests at tight end and on special teams. He recorded 84 receiving yards on seven catches and one touchdown and also led the special teams with nine tackles.
During his junior season in 2015, Sprinkle led all SEC tight ends with six receiving touchdowns, good for a tie for ninth in the FBS. He finished with 27 receptions for 389 yards. Sprinkle was ranked 12th among FBS tight ends with at least 20 catches with 14.4 yards per reception average and had 16 receptions of at least 10 yards, including seven of 20 yards or more.
The Washington Redskins selected Sprinkle in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He made his professional regular-season debut, and first career start during a Week 3 matchup against the Oakland Raiders. Overall in 2017, he played in 11 games in his rookie season and recorded two receptions for 13 yards and a touchdown.
On May 11, 2017, the Washington Redskins signed Sprinkle to a four-year contract.
In 2021, he signed a deal with the Dallas Cowboys.
