Jarrett Stidham

BIOGRAPHY

Jarrett Stidham was born on August 8th, 1996, in Corbin, Kentucky. He is a quarterback in the National Football League.

In his early years, Stidham attended Stephenville High School where in his senior year, he completed 183 of 260 passes for 2,934 yards with 35 touchdowns and also rushed for 969 yards and 15 touchdowns. was rated by Rivals.com as a four-star recruit and was ranked as the sixth-best dual-threat quarterback in his class.

After he finished high school, Stidham attended for his freshman year at the University of Baylor, where he was a five-star quarterback transfer who was the nation's top-rated dual-threat signal-caller coming out of the prep ranks. He was 75-109 passing for 1,265 yards and 12 TD in his freshman season in 2015. He played in the Under Armour All-American Game, was an Elite 11 and a District 3-4A MVP as a junior, with a career passing totals of 6,516 yards and 80 TD and a career rushing of 1,790 yards and 29 scores. In 2017, Stidham transferred to the University of Auburn where he was named as the starting quarterback. He was the SEC newcomer of the year, a first-team All-SEC by Phil Steele, a second-team all-SEC by coaches and AP, and was a Manning Award and Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award finalist. He led the SEC and ranked ninth nationally in completion percentage with 66.5, and fourth in SEC, 19th nationally in passing efficiency with 151.0. Stidham also ranks second in passing yardage with 3,158, first in completions with 246 and sixth in touchdown passes with 18 among Auburn single-season all-time leaders. In his senior season in 2018, Stidham was still the starting quarterback. His Auburn career totals were 470 thrown passes, completing 739 with a passer rate of 63.6 for 5,952 yards, 11 interceptions, and 36 TDs. 

After he graduated from Auburn, Stidham entered the 2019 NFL Draft where he was selected in the fourth round by the New England Patriots. He signed a four-year contract with the Patriots and was named the backup quarterback of Tom Brady. 

On May 13, 2022, Stidham was traded, along with a seventh-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, to the Las Vegas Raiders for a 2023 sixth-round pick.

Stidham signed a two year contract with Denver Broncos on March 13, 2023.
