BIOGRAPHY
Deshazor Dontee’ Everett was born on February 22nd, 1992, in DeRidder, Louisiana. He is a strong safety for the Washington Redskins in the NFL.
During high school, Everett was a two-time All-Louisiana selection. As a junior he posted 76 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions and 5 blocked kicks and as a senior Everett posted 130 tackles, 10 TFL, 5 QB pressures, 3 sacks and an interception on defense, amassed 618 rushing yards and 7 TDs on 72 carries (8.6 yards per carrying) on offense.
Everett played for the Texas A&M University football team from 2011 to 2014. In 2011 Everett was a valuable reserve and special teams ace as a true freshman for the Aggies. He contributed 10 tackles while seeing action in every regular-season game and had a season-high three tackles (all solo hits) against Texas. In 2012 Everett started in 12 of 13 games. He saw action at safety and cornerback, contributed 56 tackles, including 31 solo stops. He intercepted two passes for 26 yards, returning one for a touchdown. In 2013 Everett was ranked fourth on the team in tackles with a career-high 73 on the year. He had 36 solo stops and two tackles for loss while starting in nine games. In 2014 Everett was the team’s No. 2 tackler with 73 stops, including a team-high 45 solo tackles, and also posted 2.5 tackles for loss. He started every game at cornerback and had an interception and broke up six passes, which ranked No. 2 on the team.
On July 30, 2015, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Everett to a three-year contract.
Deshazor Dontee’ Everett has played for multiple teams throughout his NFL journey and is currently playing for the Washington Redskins in the NFL. On August 1, 2015, the Washington Redskins signed Everett. On March 6, 2018, the Washington Redskins signed Everett to a two-year contract.
On March 6, 2018, the Washington Redskins signed Everett to a two-year, $2.60 million contract that includes a $250,000 signing bonus. On November 3, 2019, Everett signed a three-year contract extension with the Redskins through the 2022 season.
