Deadrin Senat

BIOGRAPHY

Deadrin Senat was born on July 22, 1994, in Naples, Florida. He is an American football defensive tackle in the NFL. 

He attended Immokalee High School where he played for Coach Jerrod Ackley at Immokalee; he tallied 156 tackles, four sacks, 12.5 TFL, 11 pressures, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries over his final two prep seasons. He was a first-team 5A all-state selection by The Associated Press as a senior and a first-team all-area honoree.

He played college football at South Florida, in his 1st year in 2013 he redshirted. In 2014 in his first season on the field, Senat started two games and saw action in all 12 and posted 18 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss on the year.

In 2015 he Appeared in 12 of 13 games, including ten starts at the DT position, he had 46 tackles, led defensive lineman and ranked fifth-most on the team; and added 5.5 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble. In 2016 he earned team’s Defensive MVP award; he started 12 games at defensive tackle and played in all 13. He led USF defensive linemen and set his career-high with 49 tackles, and his 34 solo tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss and a sack are also career highs; also earned Second-team all-conference selection.

In 2017 he finished the season on a tear after making 59 tackles in his final eight games (7.4 tpg) to finish with a career-best 66 tackles on the year, which ranked second on the team; also has posted 10.5 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks in 12 games (12 starts). He was named All-conference first-team selection and was selected to play in the 93rd East-West Shrine Game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.

The Atlanta Falcons selected Senat in the third round (90th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft; On May 10, 2018, the Falcons signed Senat to a four-year contract. During his rookie campaign saw action in 15 games making two starts, recording 30 tackles (15 solo), two tackles for loss and three quarterback hits.

On April 21, 2022, Senat signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was waived on August 30, 2022 and signed to the practice squad the next day. He was promoted to the active roster on September 21.
