David Moore

BIOGRAPHY

David Moore was born on January 15th, 1995 in He is a wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL. 

Moore attended and played high school football at Gainesville High School. As a senior, he recorded 40 receptions for 700 yards and 12 total touchdowns.

Moore attended and played college football at East Central University. In 2015, David Moore was named to the Don Hansen All-America Offense Third Team. He was a D2Football.com All-America Honorable Mention, a Don Hansen and CCA D2 All-Super Region Three First Team, an All-GAC First Team and the first ECU receiver to record over 1,000 receiving yards (1,079) in a single season. Moore set the single season receiving TD record (13) and the career receiving TD record (25) for ECU.

Moore was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round, 226th overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft. On May 12, 2017, the Seahawks signed Moore to a four-year, $2.48 million contract that includes a signing bonus of $87,365.

In Week 4 of the 2018 season, against the Arizona Cardinals, Moore recorded his first two professional receptions for 39 total yards. In the following game against the Los Angeles Rams, he had three receptions for 38 receiving yards and his first two professional receiving touchdowns. In Weeks 6 and 8, he recorded a receiving touchdown against the Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions. In Week 12, he had his first game going over the century mark with 103 yards and a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers.
