BIOGRAPHY
Damarious Wayne Randall was born on August 29, 1992, in Pensacola, Florida. He is a safety for the Cleveland Browns in the NFL.
Randall played as a cornerback, safety and wide receiver and returned punts and kickoffs at Pensacola High School, earning all-state recognition as a senior and all-conference honors as a junior and senior. He helped lead the team to a Class 3A title as a senior in 2009.
Randall transferred to Mesa Community College to play college football. He saw his first action in 2012 and recorded 69 tackles, ten interceptions, and five total touchdowns. Following his stellar sophomore season in 2012, he was named an NJCAA First-Team All-American, the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) Defensive Player of the Year and a First-Team All-Conference member at cornerback and on returns and the First-Team All-Western States Football League (WSFL) pick at both cornerback and on backs.
In 2013 during his junior season, Randall led the team with 13 tackles and had an interception return for a touchdown and a forced fumble against Arizona (11/30), earning Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors for the performance. He made his first career start against Notre Dame (10/5) and locked down a starting job immediately, logging a game-high 17 tackles to go along with 1.5 tackles for loss and a pass breakup.
During his senior season in 2014, Randall was named to Phil Steele’s All-Pac-12 First Team, Sports Illustrated All-American (HM) and All-Pac-12 First Team. He led the team with 11 tackles against Washington State (11/22), adding two pass breakups and his third interception in as many games. Randall recorded 11 total tackles over the final two games of the season.
The Green Bay Packers selected Randall in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He made his professional regular-season debut in the Packers' season-opening at the Chicago Bears and recorded one tackle and two pass deflections during their 31–23 victory. On October 18, 2015, Randall earned his first career start and recorded a season-high seven solo tackles and deflected two passes during the Packers' 27–20 victory against the San Diego Chargers.
On March 9, 2018, the Packers agreed to trade Randall to the Cleveland Browns.
